Why did you start karate? 

I went to Cannington High school in the ’80s, my Mum thought it would be a good idea to do martial arts. I was also interested in Martial Arts and Bruce Lee movies. 

Why do you like doing karate now?

I like doing karate because of the increase in fitness, focus on discipline and the fact the sport is based on the value of respect.

What have you learned from your karate? 

Karate is for life
